Support Groups: List

Here’s a list of support groups currently active in Orange County. First you will find a grouping of various 12-Step group links. Below that are other mental health support groups. Please note that some of these groups are open to specific populations within the community. For example, some are open only to persons who have been diagnosed or to clients who have been an in-patient at a particular hospital. Call the contact number for information and directions.

Orange - St Joseph Hospital Aftercare Group 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at St Joseph Hospital Community Counseling, Sister Elizabeth Bldg, 2nd floor. This group is only for those who have been an in-patient in the BHS units at St Joseph Hospital. “Meet with others who are adjusting to living with a diagnosis and explore new coping strategies for current life transitions.” Facilitated by a profesional counselor.     Adult Children Of Alcoholics

    Interactive site features video, audio, articles and links to meetings, chat rooms and message boards for Adult Children of Alcoholics and those that grew up in abusive and dysfunctional homes.

    We are a non profit, local support group reaching out to Orange County ACAs and ACOAs.
